Case Study # 2
For a multinational plastics processing
company
Origin: Manchester, England
Destination: Santa Rosa, California,
USA
On a scheduled basis moved a disassembled,
crated machine in a mix of 10 high cube, closed and open containers. On
a scheduled basis moved 4 uncrated, "out of gauge" (over
dimensional and over weight) pieces.
To accomplish this project we
utilized both in England and in California, container haulers,
specialty drayage companies with the capability of handling pieces
in excess of 80, 000 lbs and 15 feet in height, police escort's,
and mobile crane companies for loading/unloading the out of gauge
